I was so happy when Genna came into our family. I could see how happy Dave was with her. My memory of her was just the pleasure of being around her. She had great stories, funny jokes always some bits of knowledge to share. She was a terrific guide with Meadowbrook & her own personal organic garden that she devoted so much time to. I loved this special lady . She will truly be missed.

Many years ago when I was visiting Uncle Dave and Aunt Glenna for a family reunion, I mentioned to Glenna I wish I had a good recipe for Zucchini Bread. She quickly responded that she had a very good one and would give it to me the next day. I was so surprised when she presented me with the recipe and a loaf of Zucchini bread. Such a lovely memory of a wonderful woman

Glenna combined steadfastness, sweetness and tenacity in her own unique way. Not only was she a principled defender of Liberty, she was also a gracious hostess and baker extraordinaire for the meetings that she and David held at the Garage Mahal. What a dynamic duo those two made! She was the Mom of the Liberty Movement in Oakland County. Her kindness and determination are unforgettable inspirations to us all. She will be missed, but never forgotten. May we be worthy of her going forward.

I always enjoyed visits with Glenna and Dave, walks in the garden, stories of docent experiences. I had the pleasure of attending one of her Christmas tours at Meadowbrook Hall, she made the place come alive with her knowledge of its history. She had wonderful childhood memories of Westerville, Ohio where she was born and raised, tales of family and times long ago. Her wit and sense of humor had her be one of my favorite people to hang with. It brings tears to my eyes recalling these thing about her now, she is missed.

I had the pleasure to interact with Glenna during the Ron Paul campaign for President. Glenna had a real passion that was infectious once you were around her., she made any event fun. Glenna’s cookies at the Garage Mahal events were always worth the drive up. I was happy to be a part of an event with her were her homemade campaign tools were added to a collection at Greenfield Village—at least some some part of who she was and how she didn’t her time will be enshrined for years to come. We were all lucky to know her. Take care David. -Dude

Glenna was a happy lady with her Dave to share life with and her family and home and gardening. It was complete for her as it should be. I would go over for produce it was always the most tender I have ever eaten. Also loved the snake on her property ; she was very protective of it. We have lost a great person.

We, like many of us will always remember Glenna smiling in the sunshine in her beloved garden and telling us the many stories of all that grew there. Glenna was a gardener in many ways in life. She planted the seeds of her passions, ideas, her loves and she attended to them skillfully, watched them grow and enjoyed the harvest of a wonderful life. She was filled by the things she loved (especially David) and she delighted in them. She showed us how to be present in our moments in life and the strong good that comes from it and from a live well lived. Love and blessings to you always Glenna..... Pam & Andy

Glenna was a wonderful friend, fellow protester. When we were walking the streets dropping flyers, she took one side I took the other, sometimes she was waiting for me at the end, not easy to keep up with her :) I love you Glenna and I miss you. Anna Janek

Seeing Glenna fight for our liberty was an inspiration. Never scared to speak truth to corrupt power. Seeing her get up there at the first convention I went to yelling at the corrupt chair was an inspiration for me to keep fighting and get involved further in the fight. Miss you dearly Glenna and was nice to speak to you over the phone shortly before your passing.
