A great loss to all who new him. As a member of the Schoolboys I can say he will be missed at all our future outings and parties. Though a quiet man he had a keen sense of humor which we all enjoyed and will surely miss. He was and always will be a Schoolboy.

God bless Harold and the Brown family. I consider myself most fortunate to have shared numerous schoolboy outings and one special Scotland trip that included the beloved Provost Harold. His warm smile and gentle demeanor were always a welcome addition to these events. He seemed to always have a genuine concern for all the schoolboys, and it made you fell special when he inquired about what was going on in your life. He is part of our schoolboy lore, and will forever live in our hearts and be felt at future proceedings.

My fondest memories of Uncle Harold always have him laughing. In my childhood years my memory of him is out by the pool on Meier Road in Roseville, he was always maintaining that pool and had a great suntan. I remember Mom talking about Grandpa Dust calling him the Skinny SOB and my Dad the Big SOB, but he loved them both. I am sure all of the extended family will miss him dearly, I know I will. Love to Aunt Bernie and all my cousins. Love, Reenie

Dear Karen, Debbie & David, What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We all know life is not forever but we want it to be. Little by little, we begin to remember not just that your Dad died, but that he lived. And that his life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your Dad. He was a wonderful, kind man with the greatest sense of humor. I know you will all miss him so much.

Harold was a one-of-a-kind true gentleman who never lost his temper and always had a smile to greet you. Brownie has been a special friend to my family for five generations, and to me personally, for my entire life. He was also beloved Provost of the Schoolboys and will be sorely missed, especially by his euchre partners! Heartfelt condolences go out from my wife Angie and I to the family and all who knew him. His memory will always be with us. Love you Harold!
