Obituary of Jay Robert Williams

Jay Robert Ryan Williams, aka Jay Bong, The Bruiser, or Pup Daddy, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2023 in the comfort of his home alongside his loving parents – Roberta and Daniel Williams. He is also survived by his sister Danielle, his dog Jasper, a large extended family, and friends that could be considered his number one fans.  Especially when he held his concerts.

He was a dedicated drummer who was patiently taught by his forever buddy, George Dunn.  He loved playing golf with his Dad, Uncle Mark, and Grandpa. Jay even achieved the unbelievable - a hole in one in 2016. One might say that he was the biggest fan of WWE wrestling, dressing up like his favorite wrestlers, collecting all kinds of cool memorabilia, and wearing his wrestling belt where ever he went. If you can believe it, Bret “The Hitman” Hart picked Jay out of the crowd and ceremoniously placed his sunglasses on Jay while at wrestling match in 1995.

All that knew Jay loved him and his colorful way he lived his life. He had this way of lightening the mood or putting things in perspective with his “Jayerisms”. Even though we are happy that he passed so very peacefully, his loss will leave an emptiness in our hearts that cannot be filled.  We hope that wherever Jay is, that it is filled with chocolate milk, mustache stores, video games, a place where he wins at everything, and gets the girl in the end.

See you on the other side Jay Bong, you are loved – and you will be missed.
