Obituary of George J. Kalman

George J.Kalman, age 73 of Lathrup Village, MI died June 7, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Sandra (Hall), daughter Dina Spoerl (Mark), son Douglas, daughter Lisa Downes and son Jeffrey Downes. Also by his grandchildren Jack Elliot Spoerl, Cheyanne and Eric Kalman. He was predeceased by his parents Steven and Helen Kalman, sister Margaret (Mutter) and brothers Steven and Ernest Kalman, all of Ohio. He was a self-employed artist for 30 years, an avid gardener, and a most beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Visitation and Memorial mass will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 19800 Pembroke Avenue, Detroit, MI, 48219 (7 mile and Evergreen Road) on Saturday, June 20, 2009.
