Obituary of Jack E. Schramm

Jack E. Schramm, age 85, February 24, 2010. Dear father of Kenneth. Dear uncle of James, Barbara and Linda. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Barbara. Mr. Schramm retired from the City of Detroit Department of Street Railways, where he worked for 40 years. He was named historian for the department by, then Mayor of Detroit, Dennis Archer. He authored many books and articles on local public transportation. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 11am, at Historic Trinity Lutheran Church, 1345 Gratiot Ave., Detroit.
