Obituary of William Peppler

Peppler, William, age 85, November 26, 2011, of Grosse Pointe Farms. Beloved husband of Shirley, for 63 years. Dear father of Linda Rhodes, Laura (Sean) Maloney and Gary (Diane) Peppler. Cherished grandfather of Maya and Hana Rhodes; Ian, Colin and Kiera Maloney; Gregory (Stephanie), and Mark Peppler; and Stacey (Seth) Greene. Preceded in death by brothers, Walter, John and George. He will be greatly missed by Neela. William was a proud U.S. Army veteran of WWII, and a member of Grosse Pointe Congregational Church. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. His family suggests donations of blood to the American Red Cross.
