Virginia Lucille Cartwright

Age 93, March 16, 2008. Wife of the late Ninus L. Cartwright, mother of Mary Hicks (Leonard), William (Myra), George, Charles (Nancy), David (Georganna), and the late John Cartwright. Grandmother of Brenda Forrest, Susan Hicks, Dawn Lubienski, Heidi George, Laura Cartwright, David Cartwright Jr, Angela Wegner, Paul Cartwright, Julie Haddad, Yvonne Trask, John Cartwright, Katie Ciaravino, Amy Yee. Great Grandmother of 21. Predeceased by a sister Hazel Dubke and two brothers Mark and Bernard Boehle.

Virginia Boehle was born in Yuma, Michigan December 18, 1914, the third child of Louis and Irene Boehle. The family left Yuma, and lived in the Detroit area soon after her mother's death in 1929. Louis Boehle died in 1962. In 1933 she married Ninus L. Cartwright, living in Detroit until 1975; six children, John, Mary, William, George, Charles and David were born and raised there. All survived but John was killed in an automobile accident in 1969. Her husband Ninus L. Cartwright died in 1982.

Memorial Service will be held on Sunday March 30, 2008, 1:00 P.M. at the Elks Lodge, 1451 E Big Beaver Rd, Troy, Michigan.
