Obituary of Verna Jean Rogell

Verna Jean Rogell, age 94, October 25, 2006, longtime resident of Detroit, and more recently or New Port Richey, Florida. Loving mother of Carol Young, Cynthia Dumser and Thomas Schlarman; and step-mother of Robert Rogell. Proud grandmother of Ann and John Dumser; and great grandmother of 3. She was preceded in death by her husdand William G. Rogell. Mr. Rogell was a former Detroit City Councilman and shortstop for the Detroit Tigers, winning the 1935 World Series with the club. A private service will be held at a later date.
