Thomas B. Lightbody

Thomas B. Lightbody, 98, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2021, at Novi Lakes Health Campus.

He is survived by his three children, Thomas Mark, Lightbody (Terry), Nancy A. Greenwald (Michael), Susan J. Morianti, as well as 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Thomas served as a Second Lieutenant, pilot, in WWII.

He attended Michigan State University after the war, joined Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, and majored in economics. At MSU he met his wife to be Patsy Rose Zurbrick. They were married 65 years until her passing in 2013.

Thomas was a “force to be reckoned with” and will be missed.
