Obituary of Theodorus Takken

Theodorus Takken passed away peacefully on March 12, 2020 in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Theodorus (Theo/Ted) was born on November 13, 1948 in Nieuwe Niedorp, The Netherlands. Theo met his wife, Madelon in Amsterdam, Netherlands in his 20s and immigrated to the United States. After several different jobs in the US, Theo found permanent employment with General Motors and worked there for 30 years until retirement. His final years were spent living in Jackson, MI surrounded by his tools, beloved dogs, and dear neighbors and friends. Theo is survived by his children, son Anton Milo Ernest Takken (Amy), daughter Natania Rae Sottrel (Michael), three grandchildren, Sophia Takken, Sarah Takken, and Noah Thomas Sottrel and three step-grandchildren, Christian Michael Sottrel, Alexander Richard Sottrel, and William Francis Sottrel.
