Thelma Joanne Halick

T. Joanne Halick (Bondy) born May 30. 1930 to Frank and Thelma Bondy in Kingsville, Ontario passed away peacefully on April 24, 2023. Joanne's sister, Barbara, preceded her in death. Joanne is survived by her sister Susanne Sack, three sons, five nieces, two nephews, and four grandchildren. Joanne attended Wayne University and received a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy (OT). She married Paul Halick, Ph.D., M.D. in 1956. Paul preceded her in death. Joanne enjoyed music and art. She played the cello, and enjoyed drawing. She worked as an OT until she raised her sons, John, Tom, and Peter. Joanne encouraged an interest in music and art within the family. After her boys were older, she returned to OT. Later she assumed the role of office manager for Paul. Joanne enjoyed traveling and fitness A memorial service is planned for Saturday May 27 at 11 AM at Fox Run in Novi.
