Stanley N. Kubicki

Stan was the son of Stanley and Helen Kubicki of Warren, Michigan.

Stan graduated from Pershing High School and Eastern Michigan University with a BS and MS in Education. He spent his most of his teaching career in the Van Dyke Public School system as an elementary principal and retired in 1991.

Stan is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy of 27 years, a son Mark, a daughter Kathy (David) Rink, a daughter Karen, and step children. Christine (Rod) Dureka and Thomas Novack, and grandchildren Jonathan, Sydney, Connor, Cody, Eric. Dear brother of Norbert and Don and sister to Joan Rielly.

Stan was known for his leadership in the schools he worked at, his artistic talents on the dance floor and in arts on the canvases he painted and wood he carved. His witty sense of humor made for an easier way to learn life’s lessons.

A memorial mass will be held for Stan Wednesday September 21stat 10:30 AM at St. Mathias Catholic Church, 12311 19 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313.
