Robert Jacek Skonieczny

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Skonieczny announce his passing.

Robert Jacek Skonieczny,62, of Sterling Heights, Michigan , passed away on December 26th, 2021 after a brief illness with Covid19.

Robertwas born in Warsaw, Poland to Feliks Jan Skonieczny and Jadwiga Krzewska on July 24th, 1959 . He went on to earn a degree in Mechanical EngineeringfromWarsaw University of Technology. He moved with his family to the US in 1988 where he worked as a CNC Programmer for many years .

Robert was an active member of his church. He liked traveling, nature, and the outdoors. He enjoyed his garden, which reminded him of his time in Poland. He had a creative mind which led him to build furniture, reconstruct his home and work on cars. He relaxed by reading, gardening, and working on his many projects.

He is survived by his son, Tomasz Skonieczny, his brother, Andrzej Skonieczny, and his partner, Elizabeth. He is remembered by his many friends in Poland and the US.

A memorial service & mass will be held at “Our Lady of Częstochowa” Church in Sterling Heights at a date to be determined by the family. A memorial service is pending in the springtime.
