Obituary of Robert James Richter

Robert James Richter was born March 4,1946 in Ann Arbor Ml to Michael F. Richter and Charlotte (Swaney) Richter. He passed away June 21,2021 at home after a brief illness.

Bob graduated from St. Thomas High School in Ann Arbor. He entered the U.S. Marine Corp in in 1967 and served at the Marine Corp Air Base in El Toro, California. After the service he began his career with IBM Corporation.

Bob is survived by his brother Michael C. Richter and sisters Elizabeth (Thomas) Knight, Catherine Kohn, Carol (David) Werth and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Mary Ferra and Peggy Williams, and his brother-in-law Starr Kohn.

Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.
