ROBERT BRUCE CORNWALL DDS December 6, 2015

Loving husband of Diane Jacobson, Beloved father of Benjamin Craig (Jorgann Brown), Robert Bruce (Kathy Lettas) and Christopher Andrew (Paula Mighion). Loving brother of Kenneth Ross (Virginia), Margaret Murtagh (Paul) and the late Douglas Theodore (Marcella). Proud grandfather of Meghan, Colin, Alexa, Tyler, Genevieve and Andrew. Loving brother-in-law to Mark Jacobson (Pamela) and Bill Jacobson (Becky). Proud uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Dr. Robert (Bob) Cornwall served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1958. Bob practiced dentistry in the Detroit area his entire career, and was a member of the Michigan Dental Association for 59 years. He was elected MDA President in 1982 and was subsequently appointed to the Michigan Board of Dentistry by Governor James Blanchard. Dr. Cornwall was awarded The William K. Collins, Sr. Meritorious Service Award in 2009 for his 25 years of service as a dental examiner for the North East Regional Board of Dental Examiners. Bob was also a long time active member of the Detroit Athletic Club.

A celebration will be held at The Community House in Birmingham on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Michigan Dental Association Foundation at smilemichigan.com/foundation/Ways-to-Give.
