Richard Edward Weichel

Richard Edward Weichel, 86, died peacefully at home in Howell, Michigan on Aug 14, 2023.

Born in Detroit on May 14 1937, Richard spent most of his adult life in Spruce, Michigan where he and his wife enjoyed raising their children on beautiful Hubbard Lake. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and golf. Richard was co-owner of Lincoln Precision Carbide Inc. in Lincoln, Michigan until the time of his retirement.

His family was his legacy. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Julia Weichel, a brother Jerry, and most dear to him, his cherished wife of 61 years Betty L Weichel.

Until they meet again, Richard leaves behind 5 loving children Stephen (Susan), Thomas, John (Lani), Scott, and Amber Weichel-Redlinger (with partner of 13 years Marty Redilla). He also leaves behind his grandchildren Eric, Kelly, Jordan, Lucas, Jennifer, Jonathan, Josh, Mike, and Savannah, and 9 great grandchildren.
