Obituary of Phillip Marshall Griffin

Phillip "Phil" Griffin, born June 9, 1948. the ultimate prayer warrior walked into the loving arms of God on October 1, 2020.

Phil was the loving husband of Tom Sullivan for 25 years. Phil was a proud member of the Blackfoot Tribe. Prior to running his catering business PTs Catering, Phil worked as a chef at numerous restaurants in the Detroit area including the St. Regis Hotel. Phil enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time with cherished family and friends.

Besides his loving husband Tom, Phil is survived by sisters Patricia Griffin, Janice Griffin and Veronica Brooks., Brothers Freeman Griffin and Robin Griffin. Phil is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters in laws along with numerous nieces and nephews. Phil was preceded in death by his loving parents, Freeman and Elizabeth Griffin and his brother, Jack Griffin. In accordance with Phils wishes there will be no funeral service and his ashes will be scattered in Lake Michigan at a later date.
