Patricia Anne Johnston



Our dear mother Patricia Johnston sadly passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 91. Pat was

married to her first love Frank Villani for 20 years and her longtime loving husband Robert (Bob)

Johnston for 21 years who are both predeceased. Pat and Bob shared many wonderful memories as

they traveled the world together. We were all very fortunate to blend two wonderful families with Bob’s

surviving children Ken and Patty Johnston, Dan and Sue Johnston, Patrick and Lisa Johnston, and Cindy

and Bob Valade along with predeceased Bob Jr and surviving Norma. She was a wonderful mother who

raised and provided for her 6 surviving children and their significant others, Julie Villani and Tim Sullivan,

Lucy and Harry Aretz, Joanne Wilson and Jay Globerson, Bob Villani, Gina Reaume and Tony Mann, and

Peter and Danielle Villani. She also is survived by 23 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Mom

taught us all how to overcome life’s obstacles by example, with a never give up attitude combined with

significant efforts to put food on the table even when life throws you a curveball. She leaves behind a

very close family that embody her drive and relish their time together. Mom was surrounded by love

and affection throughout her life and during the last few years of her life as she was surrounded by her 4

wonderful daughters and a true angel Alina who cared for her every whim. She was predeceased by Judy

and Dick Jarvis and John and Marcy Rathsburg and is survived by her brothers and sister in laws Jerry and Bonnie, Greg

and Rene, Mike and Debbie, Bill and Sherry Rathsuburg and her sisters and their spouses Mary (sis) and Bill Trampus, Sue

and Larry Banas and Eileen and predeceased Ken Banchoff.
