Patricia J. Holoweski

Patricia Switzer Holoweski, 95,of Farmington Hills, passed away on August 20, 2022, after a short illness.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Walter Holoweski, her brother, Robert Switzer, and sister, Claire Ottens. She is survived by her daughter, Dale Stevens, sons, Paul, Charles,William,and Donald, as well assix grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Patricia was born in New Rochelle, New York on July 9,1927,to Paul and Virginia Switzer. In 1948,she married Walter Holoweskiin Detroit,MI. Togetherthey raised five children while Patricia maintained a position as an accountant, a career she enjoyed until she was 82 years old.

Patricia embraced life with an enthusiasm matched by few. She traveled the world extensively, visiting nearly every continent. She golfedandwas a voracious reader andan avid swimmer, an activity she practiced regularlyuntilwell into her 90’s.Pat’s sharpmental acuity andwitty sense of humor stayed with her to the very end.Her thoughtful, generous nature, positive attitude, and ability tolive life to the fullest was an inspiration.Memories of Patricia are a blessingto all who knew her.
