Barnes, Michael Steven, age 58, March 20, 2021. Beloved son of Farris (Helen). Cherished father of Jillian Marie and Steven Michael Barnes. Loving brother of Nancy Martin. Zany uncle of Melissa (the late Levi Delieu), Eric (Adina), Jason (Jess), & Brandon Martin.

Michael worked as a Registered Nurse for the State of Michigan for over 20 years. He worked as a nurse in California, Florida, and Indiana where he made many friends over the years. Michael was quite talented. Michael had a care free attitude with his passion of dance and roller skating. He was a self-taught piano player.

Michael loved his Tribe! Michael was a committed and loyal son, father, uncle, and friend. He loved people and lived life with a vibrant sense of wonder and adventure. He was generous, sociable, energetic, intelligent, forgiving, and always willing to help others. He loved celebrations, and gatherings with family. His humor, quick wit, brilliant smile, and kind eyes will be greatly missed.
