On April 7, 2021, Mary Wah Hing passed away at the age of 92 years.
Mary is survived by her children: Andrew Hing of Canton, Anita (Michael) Brown of Plymouth, Amy (Bennett) Yu of Plymouth, Allen Hing of Plymouth, and Alisa (Michael) Kwang of Plymouth; grandchildren: Amanda (Joseph) Dear, Alexander Yu, Andrew Kwang, Allison Kwang, Aidan Hing, Zachary Martin, and Anna Brown; great-grandchildren: Asher Dear and Alexis Dear. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Ma and Fred (Lynn) Wah, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ng Harry Hing.
Mary was born in Trenton, New Jersey to N.G. Lun Wah and Wong Shee Wah. She met Harry while working at Temple University Hospital, where Harry was doing his residency and Mary was a nurse. They were married on June 23, 1956. They moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where Harry had his medical practice and Mary worked as a nurse, and to raise their family. After Harry’s death, Mary moved to Canton, Michigan, to be closer to the family.
