Madeline Wanda Jozwiak

Madeline W. Jozwiak, age 85, of East English Village in Detroit, Michigan,died peacefully Thursday, September 8, 2022.

A lifelong Detroiter, Maggie,as she was affectionately known, spent her career of 42 yearsat National Bank of Detroit, and its successors First National Bank of Chicago and Bank One, working mainlyin the trust accounting department. One social club within the the bank was the travel group andMaggie never passed up a chance to explore newplaces, nationally and internationally. In addition to travel, her hobbies included bowling, playing cards, visiting the local casinosand volunteer work. She was a devout parishioner at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church on Detroit’s east side.

Maggieis survived bymany nieces, nephews,their offspring and innumerable friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Theresa Jozwiak, as well as her nine siblings, Jerome, Leonard, Edmund, Stephanie, Doris, Eugene, Evelyn, Angela and Grace.

A memorial / or funeral service will be heldhopefully - Saturday, October 1, 2022, atSt. Matthew Catholic Church, 6021 Whittier, Detroit, MI 48224, Instate at 9:30 AM until time of Mass at 10:00 AM.

Maggie will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, near her parents.
