Obituary of Lynda Sue Barnes

Lynda S. Barnes, Lansing Born Nov. 23, 1959 in Pontiac Michigan to Maxwell and Dorothy Haddix passed away October 25, 2020 at the age of 60. Lynda was strong willed and had a strong faith in God. Lynda had a heart of gold. Following her daughter's death Lynda helped to pass a law establishing a licensing system that limits teens freedom to drive. She had a strong love for animals, owning many pets throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her father Maxwell, her mother Dorothy, her daughter Colette, her brother David and David Barnes. Lynda is survived by her children Nicole (Bryan) Fillingham and Kristin (Nate) Michael, her nephew Ian Haddix and nine grandchildren.
