Obituary of Lucile Elizabeth Bando

Lucile (Preston) Bando, age 91, A Birmingham/Berkley resident for over 75 years, died April 17, 2009. Loving Mother of Gwen & Gunn Harrover, Proud Grandma of nine great-grandchildren and one great-grt grandson, Sister of the late Julia (Sargeant) and surviving brother Hugh A. Preston Jr., Beloved wife of the late William Bando. Prior to Lucy’s church work she was Dept.Manager in Jacobsons’ Childrens Shop for thirty years, retiring ‘with honors’ in 1980. Lucile was an active member of Huntington Woods Lutheran Church, serving on Project Compassion, the Quilting Committee, and as an officer in her HWLML Chapter for many years. A Celebration Service and Luncheon are planned for Early summer.
