Loving father of Jo Ann (James) Portteus of Erie, MI., George (Mary) Schroeder of Columbia, S.C., Thomas (Andrea) Schroeder of Ida, MI., Mary-Lynn (Keith) Gerweck of Monroe, MI., and Susan Schroeder of Monroe, MI. Dear Grandfather of 6, and Great Grandfather of 15. Dear brother of James Schroeder and Margaret Berning. Louis was a local business owner and was a life member of the Monroe Rod and Gun Club, Monroe Boat Club and Brest Bay Gun Club. No services were held. Cremation Society of Michigan (313) 839-4100 in charge of arrangements.
