Obituary of Linda Elizabeth Kaufman



Linda Elizabeth Kaufman, 78, of Sterling Heights, Michigan, passed away on December 27, 2021 in Clinton Township.



Memorial service will be held at Hope United Church of Christ, 35127 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, MI 48035 on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at noon with Pastor Meg Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held at Hope United Church of Christ from 10:30am – 12:00pm, prior to the service.



Linda was born in Detroit, Michigan to Ludwig Michaelsen and Mathilde Blasberg on December 19, 1943. She went to Osborn High School and graduated in 1961. She worked as a secretary, administrative assistant, and bookkeeper for Detroit Public Schools, Catholic Youth Organization, and finally Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers for many years. She enjoyed volunteer work, crafting, camping, nature walks, spending time with her grandchildren, and of course her dog, Ginger.



Linda is survived by her children Lisa Lange, Lora Davis (Jim) and Daniel Lange and grandchildren Sara, Alissa, Ryley, C’Nai, Sean, Bennett, Josh, Deante and Caiden. She is predeceased by her parents Ludwig and Mathilde Michaelson, her spouse Eldon Kaufman, and her sister, Wilma Urban.
