Obituary of Lawrence Murray

Murray, Lawrence, age 81, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on May 9, 2014. Beloved husband of Margaret for 59 cherished years.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, to Lawrence and Margaret (Peggy) in 1933. He lived through WWII in his youth and went on to serve overseas in the Highland Light Infantry as a Scottish Soldier. Prior to coming to America, he completed his apprenticeship and became a very talented, certified Journeyman Carpenter.

Proud and Loving Father of Lawrence (Kathie), Ann (Mike), Alison, and Thomas (Lisa). Adored Papa of Erika, Heather, Andrew, Lawrence, Ashley, Michael, Andrea, Emily and Liam. Treasured Brother, Brother-in-Law and Uncle to family in Scotland. We will miss this Amazing Man.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 5pm, at Kirk In The Hills, 1340 W. Long Lake Rd., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302. Tea will follow.
