Obituary of John Michael Thalgott III

JOHN MICHAEL THALGOTT III, Age 77, of Fraser, passed away on November 10, 2020. Born in Detroit, Michigan October 8,1943 to Hilda (Simpson) and John Thalgott II. He worked many years for Stroh's Brewery in Detroit, a job he loved. He also worked until retirement at Mazda in Flat Rock. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years,Theresa Thalgott (Chambos). Devoted father to daughter Stacey (Mark) Copas, son John R. Thalgott, stepdaughter Cindy (Doug) Barr, and stepsons, Nick and Michael Chambos. He will be missed dearly by his sister Peg Miller. John leaves behind several grand and great grandchildren along with several cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Thalgott, his father and mother. John touched the lives of many people with his caring, compassionate personality. He had a great sense of humor and was proud of the accomplishments of those around him.
