Obituary of James Edward Werthman

James Edward Werthman of Harrison Township, passed away June 17, 2020 at the age of 81.

Jim attended De La Salle Collegiate and earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Detroit. He taught English at Aero Mechanics High School at Detroit City Airport.

Jim enjoyed bicycling trips, tennis and pickleball. He was a car enthusiast and a dog lover. He was a member of the Downtown Detroit Optimist Club.

Jim leaves behind his wife Nancy, daughter Alyssa, son David, brother Bob (Dorothy), several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A celebration of his life will be held in the future.
