Frank Wallace Neil

Frank Wallace Neil, age 95, born February 9, 1927, passed peacefully at home May 24, 2022.

Loving husband of Madeline Joan Neil (née O’Neill) for 68 years. Dearest father of Daniel P. Neil (Karin LaRose-Neil), Martin J. O’Neill (Angela née Sanchez), and Brian S. O’Neill (Paula née Miller). Survived by four grandchildren (Parker O’Neill, Sloane O’Neill, Claire O’Neill, and Jonathan O’Neill) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Frank is well known as a role model for his children and their friends, sharing his knowledge of building baseball skill as well as coaching. Frank enjoyed the game of golf, listening to and sharing his knowledge of classic Jazz, watching Tiger Baseball, and enjoying a glass of Bushmills.

Frank was preceded in death by his grandson, Patrick James O’Neill, and siblings Margaret “Peggy” Gamburd (Carl), Marshall Neil (Rose), Alice Kris (Robert), Arlene LaForrest (Thomas), Clayton “John” (Cecilia).

At Frank’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
