Obituary of Dorothy Frieda Hamilton-Wilkerson

Dorothy Hamilton-Wilkerson, aged 94 of Beverly Hills, MI, passed away Saturday evening, December 29, 2018.

Born in St. Louis, MO in 1924, as Dorothy Frieda Waller, the deceased is survived by her 2nd husband, William Earl Wilkerson, to whose children she was a loving stepmother; daughters Adele (Roy) Rozgo and Nora Hamilton; her siblings, Barbara Kociemba, Helen Grenke, William Waller Ruth Bluemenstein and Joan Johnson; a devoted extended family and friends.

Dorothy graduated from the University of Michigan, Dearborn, where she earned academic honors with a with a Bachelors degree Art History. She also pursued the study of Fine Arts, which inspired both her own dazzling creative repertoire (paintings), world travels, her love of great literature and her gourmet cooking.

Dorothy concluded her working life at the Greenfield Village-Museums in Dearborn, MI, where she distinguished herself as a Master Presenter of museum exhibitions.

A memorial service in celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at a date to be determined.
