Obituary of Dawn C. Alfes

Dawn Elizabeth Alfes (Conklin) was born in Lansing, Michigan on December 20, 1930 and died on April 16, 2020, at the age of 89. Dawn married her husband on June 11, 1955. They moved to Warren, Michigan where she was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother, and a devout parishioner of St. Anne Catholic Church since 1957. Dawn was an avid bridge player and expert of many card games. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her spouse, Thomas R. Alfes; her children, Catherine, Thomas (Mary Lou), Timothy (Clara), and Todd (Sandra); her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Maria), Jonathan, Jason (Jonna), Clarissa, Scott, Patrick, Jack, Max, Victoria, Christopher, Sam, and Alec; her great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jaxon, Riley, Quinn, and James; and her siblings: Robert, Nancy, and Margaret. Dawn was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa; her great-grandson, Tyson; and her siblings, Patrick, Mary, and Michael. A memorial service will be held at a time yet to be determined.
