Obituary of Dale Andrew Schuster

Dale Andrew Schuster, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle passed away on April 6, 2021.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Carolyn Ann (Bareis) Schuster, daughter Kristin Schuster (Michael Moreno), son Matt Schuster (Alyssa Cairo), grandchildren Madeline, Sarah, Jillian, Ella, Sophia, and Reid, siblings Cheryl (Dick) Snell and Ron Schuster.

Dale was born on August 9, 1937 to Andrew Alexander and Kathryn (Rausch) Schuster in Detroit, Michigan. Dale spent his youth on the family farm, where he rode horses, played sports, and read everything in the local library. After he graduated from Anchor Bay High School, Dale attended Michigan State University and became a life-long Spartan. Dale spent his entire working career at TRW in Sterling Heights, building lasting friendships.

Dale married Carolyn in 1969 and they raised their family in Clinton Twp before moving to the Lansing area. He enjoyed watching college sports, reading, and traveling- especially to casinos or on trips with extended family.

Dale’s memory and love is treasured by his family. A celebration of Dale’s life is being planned for the summer
