Beloved Aunt and Sister, Catherine Marie Dube, passed away at Port Huron Medical Center, on April 30, 2021. She was born on February 9, 1969, in Royal Oak, Michigan, the daughter of Gerald Paul Dube, and Mary Beatrice Dupuis.

Catherine graduated from Ferndale High School, Class of 1987. She held a successful career in property management for over twenty-four years, winning the Apartment Association of Michigan, Resident Manager of the Year Award, for properties with over 300 homes, in 2003.

Catherine loved playing games with family, especially cards, dice, and Balderdash. She was an eloquent logophile, who loved crocheting and gardening in her free time. Catherine loved owls. She also enjoyed collecting retro toy Christmas tree ornaments. She had a passion for John Waters films, and other cult-classics, such as Harold and Maude. She loved classic rock and 70s soft rock music, especially Cat Stevens. She loved to laugh, and loved her family dearly.

In addition to her parents, Catherine is preceded in death by her sisters, Theresa (Mongeau) Dube, Carol (Knight) Dube, M. Denise Dube, her brother, David Dube, and one nephew.

Catherine is survived by her sister Jeanette (Dugall) Dube, brothers Ronald Dube and Dennis (Nancy) Dube, eleven nieces and nephews, and her dog Gizmo.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Catherine Dube will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 1pm, at Sanilac County Lexington Park, 3885 Lakeshore Rd, Lexington MI 48450. Close friends and family of Catherine’s are welcome.
