Obituary of Carol Sue Duprey

Duprey, Carol Sue (nee Schulte), age 68, of Sterling Heights, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at her home. She was born February 22, 1940, in Detroit. Ms. Duprey retired from General Motors as an executive secretary after 33 years. During her years at GM, she sang in the Choir and also modeled. She loved music, boating and fishing, reading , history, movies and writing letters. She enjoyed the company of her pet parrot "Pookie". She is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Schulte; nephews, William (Patricia) Schulte, Robert (Sharon) Schulte, Bradley (Donna) Schulte, Barry (Debra) Schulte; nieces, Kim (Warren) Hagen, Kendell Ricker; many great nieces and nephews; and two great-great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents William G. and Caroline Schulte; brother William G. Schulte II and sister Betty Pare. She will also be dearly missed by her long time friends Bob and Marge Dennis and Bill Wichers. She had many friends she spoke to weekly that will miss her candid conversations and humor. Carol will always be remembered as a thoughtful and generous person. No services will be held per Carol's request. Donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital in Carol's memory.
