Billie Jean Carlile

April 29, 1947 — January 18, 2025

In Loving Memory of Billie Jean Carlile.

Billie, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and retired nurse, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025 at the age of 77. Surrounded by her family, she left this world as she lived her life: with grace, kindness, and an unwavering love for those around her.

Born on April 29, 1947 in Dearborn, MI, Billie dedicated her life to caring for others. Her career as a nurse spanned over 40 years, during which she provided compassionate care to countless patients and their families. She was not just a healer of the body, but also of the spirit, offering comfort and encouragement to those in need.

Outside of her profession, Billie was the heart of her family. She shared a beautiful 57-year marriage with her beloved husband, David, who was her partner, confidant, and greatest supporter. Together, they raised three children, Tracy, Angela, and Adam, instilling in them the values of love, compassion, and resilience.

Billie found her greatest joy in her role as “Grandma” to her 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Her warm hugs, endless patience, and playful spirit will be forever missed by the little ones who adored her.

Billie is survived by her husband, David Carlile; her children, Tracy (Ted) Sears, Angela (Jeff) McFarland, and Adam (Jessica) Carlile; her grandchildren, Jenna, Lauren, Shane, Lyla, Benjamin, Emily, Nicholas, Camila, Jonathan, and Martin; and 1 great grandchild, Maria; her energetic fur-baby, Bella and a host of friends and extended family who will forever treasure her memory.

Her family will send out information regarding her celebration of life that will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angela Hospice in her honor.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at ease. Her warmth, compassion, and boundless love will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace and rejoice forever in the presence of the Lord.

Please share a memory of Billie by signing her memory book.
